SASAMA International Ceramic Art Festival 2021 - POSTPONED

The 6th edition of SASAMA International Ceramic Art Festival was supposed to be held throughout this autumn. Due to the pandemic circumstances, we decided to postpone the event. 
The new dates will be decided later on. 

Please keep in mind that all information is subject to changes due to the pandemic.

FESTIVAL & ANAGAMA FIRING

The main festival is planned for
•   Saturday, 06 November 2021 in Sasama, Shizuoka
We will present an exhibition of works by invited and selected artists, a ceramic market, a tea ceremony and an anagama firing.

INVITED ARTISTS WORKSHOPS
POSTPONED

In addition, as special arrangement this year, we will offer of 4 workshops by international invited artists who are residents of Japan. They will take place in person in Sasama / Shimada (details to follow), as well as potentially online (to be confirmed).
