Brush strokes. Fields of colour.
Drops fall from brush. Scratch runs through.
Lines go up and down and around.

I paint. I am totally absorbed. Then I pour clay onto the plaster block. And each time I lift the clay from the ‘canvas’ a new picture is revealed. I cut it and fold it into a unique and cheerful vessel.

Capriccio – a passionate painting and a beautiful thing to use, too.
